Primary Job Duties:

  • Assist Loan Officers in managing their administrative workload by handling;
  • Loan application processing: Assist in processing loan applications by gathering required documents from borrowers. Work with borrowers to address and obtain any missing/ incomplete information.
  • Client communication: Act as a point of contact for borrowers and other stakeholders, including referral partners, to answer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on loan applications. Ensure prompt and professional communication to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Loan file coordination: Coordinate with various internal departments, including underwriting and processing, to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan files. Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process.
  • Compliance & documentation: Ensure compliance in accordance with lending regulation and company policies. Assist in preparing and reviewing loan documentation, including disclosures, agreements and closing documents.
  • Loan pipeline management: Assist in maintaining and monitoring loan pipelines, tracking the progress of loan applications and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide regular updates to Loan Officers on the status of loan files, potential bottlenecks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Database management: Input and maintain loan data accurately in loan origination software (ARIVE) or other relevant systems.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a mortgage lending or banking environment highly preferred
  • Maryland mortgage license preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
