Job Summary

As a Hybrid Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and support to sales teams and customers. The goal is to drive sales of NetApp's best-in-class solutions. You will utilize your strong technical and consultative skills to help evaluate customer requirements and design solutions to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will have proven experience working in Hybrid/Multi-Cloud environments and understand what the business and technology challenges are in this field. Companies across all industries are leveraging the cloud to drive business growth and innovation, but despite the fast cloud adoption, most traditional enterprise applications still run on-premises. Organizations need to modernize applications, acquire new knowledge, and update policies. NetApp has the tools, services, and people to accelerate our customer's cloud journey with ease, and the Technical Solution Specialist will drive this acceleration by leading Hybrid Cloud opportunities. Candidates will have an appetite to go from a broad understanding of NetApp's offerings to becoming an expert, matching the best NetApp solution to the business problem being presented.

Responsibilities Collaborate with sales teams to support customers in pre-sales activities, including consulting on and disseminating product information and leading technical sales calls. Support the technical sales cycle including technical qualification, product and solution briefings, and proof-of-concept/demos. Present, position and demonstrate NetApp technologies, solutions, and services to prospective customers, articulating clear business value. Provide technical consultation and disseminate product information to the sales team. Job Requirements

Requires 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or sales engineering experience in a b2b technology environment. Prior experience selling NetApp products/services, or prior experience selling storage solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order to work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals. Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment. Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions. Excel in working in a team selling environment. Demonstrate a creative approach to problem-solving.
