Work and become a part of the high performing North American Inbound Logistics team who have plans to deploy a vendor developed YMS solution at 12 sites in 2024 and the remaining sites in 2025. You will be responsible for the devices on the plant floor which include coordinating the connectivity, orchestration and integration of the Fast Gate; RTLS antenna static and dynamic placement; author and own configuration and start up scripts to authorize and open the application on a tablet mounted on HiLos/Switcher Cab trucks; and be a go-to person for Plant IT and MP&L to help enable the plant with the IT solutions to promote the YMS system. The expectation is that the successful candidate will become an expert in the YMS space to continually improve the process and product. By taking on this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful deployment of the YMS solution, drive operational efficiency, and play a vital role in shaping the future of inbound logistics within the organization. Your expertise and dedication to continuous improvement will be essential in ensuring the success of the YMS implementation across all sites.

Education Required:

HS Diploma Some college courses

Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or related field

The position is hybrid. There is an expectation that the employee is onsite one day per week. This may change to 3 days per week.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
