Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new clients and the development of strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Client Acquisition:
Identify, approach, and secure new clients and business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
Partnership Development:
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business growth and collaboration.
Sales Management:
Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients and partners.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor and analyze business development activities, reporting on progress and outcomes to senior management.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide junior business development staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Required Education, Skills, Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in technical field (Metallurgy, Materials Science or similar is a plus)
· 5 years relevant work experience in business development, sales, or a related role (preferably in heat-treating or relevant industry)
· Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
· Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Valid driver’s license and passport
