JOB SUMMARY:

Manage the teamresponsible for coordinating contracted and non-contracted pricing for Medlinecustomers regarding branded products and SOP documentation. Responsible for allrelated activities (such as day to day process, escalations for complaints,SOPs) surrounding the Distributed Pricing processes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translateleadership strategy into actionable tactics and objectives.
  • Overseeresources, activities and outcomes of the Distributed Pricing processes.
  • CommunicateDistributed Pricing policy and position to drive positive outcomes andresolution.
  • Decipherissues which cause pricing discrepancies.
  • Collaboratewith sales leadership, customers, vendors, and sales reps to resolveissues.
  • Responsiblefor analysis, reporting, and optimization of the division's pricing; provideinsight into trends and discrepancies.
  • Identifyprocess changes to decrease risk and increase efficiency.
  • Organize,plan and recommend analysis and reports consistent with continuous improvementprocesses and procedures.
  • Participatein functional and cross-functionalteam meetings.
  • Generateand maintain SOP documentation.
  • Managementresponsibilities include:
    • Day-to-dayoperations of a group of employees.
    • Makingdecisions with financial implications
    • Interpretand execute policies for departments/projects and develops.
    • Recommendand implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
    • Providegeneral guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
    • Hiringstaff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training anddevelopment of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meetingcompletion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application oforganizational policies.
Education
  • Bachelor'sDegree.
Work Experience
  • At least4 years' experience in contract administration, customer pricing, or customersupport.
  • Experienceworking with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify andimplement solutions to complex problems.
  • Experienceusing time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and trackingdetails and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completiondates.
  • Experiencetaking the steps to ensure the assignment/project is accomplished within tighttimeframes.
  • Experiencewith End-user in SAP.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Experiencewith Microsoft Office.
  • Advancedlevel skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, mergingand centering cells, V-lookups, printing centered page and/or creating a pivottable).
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experiencefacilitating high-profile projects with aggressive deadlines and significantvisibility from Medline and customer leadership.
  • At least 2 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
