Little Rock, United States Apptegy Full time
About Apptegy

Since our start in 2015, we've gone from a group of individuals to a community pushing toward the same goal of building a fantastic company with great people, great products, and, most importantly, a great culture.

Apptegy is building products to empower school leaders to run better schools. We have the opportunity to help schools as they go through a radical shift in how they operate and to provide great technology to make that transition.

We are focused on bringing thoughtful, high-performers together to craft an experience for our clients and to make Apptegy a better place than it already is.

As a Senior Financial Analyst...

You will support and help scale our FP&A function working closely with multiple teams across our organization. We're growing quickly and need someone that can be part of making us efficient and effective. You will be involved in and responsible for:

- Work with the Director of FP&A and other key leaders, maintain, improve, and evolve a flexible multi-year financial model.

- Play a key role in the development, analysis, and presentation of the Company's financial performance, KPIs, metrics, etc. to senior management, investors, and employees.

- Work with the Director of FP&A and Accounting team to develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow model.

- Take a leading role in planning, managing, and improving the company's annual budgeting process.

- Collaborate with Apptegy's RevOps team to update GTM Dashboard that helps track Pipeline Coverage, CARR Momentum, and overall sales productivity.

- Report financial results to relevant parties - both internal and external - and develop specific reporting around metrics that are critical to the company's success.

- Play an active role in the preparation of quarterly Board updates, ongoing development, evolution, and presentation of industry/peer group comparisons and other key analyses.

- Manage all reporting to our lenders - including monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of financial covenants.

- Assist department leaders in building business cases and ROI analysis for expansion opportunities.

- Responsible for ad hoc analysis as needed by senior management.

What you should bring to the table:

- You have a four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA a plus.

- 4-5 years (minimum) of relevant financial modeling and analysis experience. Preference for experience in SaaS and/or private equity.

- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, and Rippling is a plus.

- Outstanding communication skills. The position will collaborate with many other employees/departments as well as leadership. The ability to cleanly and concisely articulate thoughts and information is critical to success.

- High degree of organization. The position will require incorporating multiple sources of data.

- Ability to meet deadlines, be self-sufficient and take ownership of work.

- A desire to be part of a fast-growing company.

What we expect from you:

1. To work with urgency: In this role, you must be incredibly organized, but also efficient and fast. You should be able to point to specific examples and experiences when you have to do great work, quickly.

2. Strong technical skills: You enjoy making Excel work smarter for you. You have some experience with pivot tables, advanced formulas (SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP, etc), and can access many of the powerful, advanced functions.

3. Thoughtful intensity: You are intense in your work and can manage on your own, but you also know how to look up and help others. You know that Finance is a team that helps Apptegy's teams, clients, and investors. Working diligently gives you the opportunity to help others and take things off their plate when needed.

4. Growth mindset: You are mastering the skill of self-improvement and see every obstacle as an opportunity to learn and grow. While you take pride in everyday work, you also take pride in overcoming new challenges -whether technical or personal in nature.

5. To learn how we think & be coachable: In this position, you'll have an opportunity to work with a number of people. We want you to be open and coachable to how we craft experiences for our clients. Our aim (and your aim) must be to take an Apptegy approach to every interaction and look for ways to surprise our clients.

What else should I know?

We take our responsibility as a company seriously and aim to make this the best job that you've had (and one that sets you up for future success).

We want your day at work and your time at home to be a joyful experience, that's why we provide:

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents

- Matching 401(k) retirement plan

- Discretionary/flexible paid time off policy

- Parental leave

- Dependent Care FSA

If the challenge of building a rapidly growing company excites you as much as it does us, we hope that you'll consider joining us.
