The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in developing operational rates, conducting cost assessments, managing month-end financial reporting, and overseeing inventory transactions at the local production facility.

This position serves as the financial and accounting authority for the site, aiding in strategic decision-making and facilitating month-end closing processes.

Moreover, the role encompasses process enhancement and project-oriented responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial data and analysis within the facility.
  • Oversee inventory batches, address discrepancies, and ensure accurate accounting practices throughout the manufacturing cycle.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process for both variable and fixed costs, including departmental expense allocations.
  • Support the month-end closing procedures.
  • Lead the annual physical inventory assessment and assist with the cycle count initiative.
  • Collaborate with plant finance teams to analyze cost variances and work towards minimizing overall expenses.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports and analytics in conjunction with operations.
  • Partner with operational teams to monitor and report on cost-saving measures.
  • Calculate return on investment (ROI) and financial implications for capital projects and significant maintenance activities.
  • Regularly assess labor and overhead rates.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years of accounting or cost analysis experience in a manufacturing environment (mandatory)
Experience with inventory transactions (mandatory)
Accounting background in a multi-location, mid-sized to large organization.

Familiarity with process manufacturing and ERP systems in a manufacturing context (Oracle experience is advantageous).
Proficiency in SQL and prior project management experience is preferred.

  • Self-motivated with the capability to lead and communicate effectively across various functions and organizational levels.

Ability to convey finance and accounting concepts in simple terms to non-financial managers.
Capacity to adapt to and promote change.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and adept at managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
Knowledge of inventory reserves is essential.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
