We're working closely with DHCS, the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC), and the California Department of Insurance (CDI) to implement a multi-payer fee schedule, ensuring fair reimbursement for school-linked providers offering designated outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services. **Business Analyst III** Location: **This position will work a Hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates Must live within 50 miles from an Elevance Health corporate office.** Work Shift: **Monday thru Friday, 5 days a week during Pacific Standard Time business hours.** The **Business Analyst III** is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into business requirement documents and application software. **How you will make an impact:** + Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those requirements. + Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs. + Documents, defines, and formalizes the requirements as part of technical workflows. + Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit. + Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. + Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues. + May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team. **Minimum Requirements:** + Requires a BA/BS and **minimum of 5 years business analysis experience** ; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:** + Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred. + Minimum of 3 years data analysis or related experience highly preferred. + Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software. + Ability to manipulate large sets of data is strongly preferred. + Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. + Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, toad, EDI files, and CMS interop files. For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $79,488 to $119,232.
