Shift: Overnight, 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
About the Role: Smilebuilderz is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our housekeeping team. As an essential member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment throughout our dental office. This full-time position requires overnight availability and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Floor Care & Trash Removal:
- Mop and maintain floors throughout the facility.
- Collect and properly dispose of all trash.
- Dust and clean surfaces, including furniture, equipment, and decorative items.
- Clean interior windows and keep the staff lounge tidy.
- Regularly clean and disinfect restrooms.
- Ensure restrooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies and promptly address any plumbing issues.
- Disinfect high-touch areas in patient treatment rooms using EPA-registered disinfectants.
- Pay special attention to frequently touched items like patient chairs, armrests, X-ray equipment, drawer handles, and door knobs.
- Maintain a clean, uncluttered reception area to create a positive first impression for patients.
- Keep furniture in good condition, store files appropriately, and ensure magazines and entertainment materials are neatly displayed.
- Follow disinfection procedures aligned with OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize the risk of infections and ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a medical or dental setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight hours.
- Familiarity with OSHA and CDC guidelines is a plus.
