**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Support Specialist to join our team at Aspen Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, working closely with our experienced dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.
- Take dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic imaging tasks as needed.
- Set up and break down operatory post-treatment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring efficient and effective care.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns as required.
- Perform quality impressions and bite registrations to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Support patient charting for doctors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in dental care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.
