Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in volunteer coordination, human resources, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.Experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers is highly desirable.Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of volunteers, hospital staff, and community members.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and volunteer management software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.Work Environment:The Volunteer Coordinator will work primarily in an office within the hospital, regularly interacting with volunteers, patients, and hospital staff. The role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate volunteer schedules and special events.Physical Requirements:The role may require standing, walking, and moving around the hospital for extended periods. The ability to lift or move materials (up to 25 pounds) for volunteer events may be necessary. We are an E-Verify employer.
