Description

  • Cost Analysis of labor, inventory, and identification of variances to recommend cost-saving measures
  • Assisting in reconciling physical inventory counts with system records and investigating discrepancies.
  • Investigating and explaining variances between standard costs and actual costs (materials, labor, overhead).
  • Enhance cost accounting processes, improve workflows, and ensure data accuracy.

Profile

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of manufacturing costs, inventory management, and variance analysis.
  • History of cost reporting and presenting findings and ability to implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills, cross-functional teamwork skills, and experience updating Bill of Materials (BOMs).
