Corporate Gift-In-Kind Director – Food

to join our Corporate Products & Procurement team The Corporate Gift-In-Kind Director – Food oversees the development of national corporate gift-in-kind partnerships with a specific focus on increasing food donations to advance Feed the Children’s mission. They manage a revenue portfolio aligned with their assigned account base and new donor revenue goals. The Corporate Gift-In-Kind Director – Food is responsible for cultivating corporate relationships to generate significant levels of gift-in-kind donations and to establish opportunities for strategic and meaningful levels of engagement with these partners. NOTE: The ideal candidate for this position will work hybrid from our Oklahoma City, OK corporate office, however all qualified candidates will be considered nationwide. Job Requirements: Education Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent with emphasis in business, communications, or another related field is preferred. High school diploma required. Experience 5+ years of overall experience working in a fast-paced sales and/or fundraising environment with an emphasis on corporate sales and/or business development required 5+ years of overall experience identifying, initiating and cultivating relationships with sales prospects required 5+ years of experience strategically managing multiple complex projects while meeting established deadlines required Experience establishing relationships with senior-level individuals at Fortune 500 food corporations and foundations preferred Demonstrated record of success in generating significant financial commitments Experience developing relevant and compelling presentations and proposals to generate new revenue required Experience establishing relationships with others through innovative, persuasive, and collaborative ways by demonstrating excellent negotiation and conflict resolutions skills. revenue Direct all aspects of planning for corporate gift-in-kind partners and prospective gift-in-kind partners, timely development of agendas, proposals, and contracts, ensuring alignment of proposals with the partners CSR goals, manage the execution of the partnership and preparation for renewals. Manage and execute the agreed upon deliverables with corporate gift-in-kind partners as well as identify, develop, present and look for opportunities to secure additional gift-in-kind revenue. Establish long-term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and initiate new contacts with key

for deep and wide partner engagement. Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive development plan to research and identify sources of support, develop strategies to generate new proposals based on corporate guidelines and interests, and expand and enhance strong communication ties with corporate donors and prospects. Identify emerging business leadership and industry trends with a special emphasis on developing high value-exchange relationships to identify, evaluate and cultivate gift-in-kind donations to help support the mission and goals of Feed the Children’s programs. Maintain a rigorous schedule of contacts with corporate representatives. Create, develop, and present highly compelling presentations and comprehensive proposals. Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to cultivate, identify and target donors for additional areas of support such as workplace giving, corporate funding and cause marketing. Collaborate closely with Feed the Children’s U.S. Programs team to cultivate a deep comprehension of the organization’s strategic programs and initiatives. Utilize this knowledge to effectively align them with the objectives and aspirations of corporate partners and prospects. Partnership implementation and monitoring Responsible for high-level interaction and strategic involvement, flawless execution, stewardship, and overall management of partnerships. Create, work, and drive a customized stewardship that adds value, increases opportunity and deepens and broadens the relationship with the partner. All interactions are planned and tracked in CRM. Execute all duties necessary for the successful implementation of the partnerships, including cross-functional collaboration with Finance, U.S. Programs, Marketing and Communications, Legal, Corporate Partnerships and other stakeholders, as appropriate. The domestic travel requirements for this position are estimated to be up to 35% of the work time during peak times, 15-20% during non-peak times. Driver’s license required.
