Position Summary

This is a fast-paced, customer facing, operationally focused role placing emphasis on accurately executing on the transactional tasks along with building and strengthening relationships with our customers and internal teammates. This role is responsible for facilitating and executing on customer's financing programs by processing a variety of incoming requests pertaining to a customer's end-user, program setup and process execution, all while maintaining accuracy at a rapid pace.

As an Operations Support Specialist, you'll:

  • Administer prompt, accurate and consistent information that meets or exceeds quality metrics.
  • Primary individual to manage the daily communication flow with customers through various platforms including but not limited to; communicating credit decisions to customers, creating agreements, researching accounts, review documentation submitted for funding, following-up on missing or incorrect information.
  • Establish direct working relationship with customer base to support current and future business needs.
  • Maintain detailed notes to support transactional communication and manage customer's program information.
  • Compute rate calculations based on expert level knowledge of rate economics and procedures.
  • Communicate concepts in simple to the customer to resolve problems and establish understanding of solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in GreatAmerica systems to complete unique process requests.
  • Identify trends with customers and collaborate with sales team to implement solutions.
  • Act as an extension of our customer's organization when interacting with the customer's end-user.
  • Provide The GreatAmerica Experience with a high-level understanding of other functions in order to deliver solutions and complete a variety of tasks to support our customer.

Education:
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred or equivalent education/experience
Experience:
  • 1 year of customer service experience, or experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
Skills and Abilities

Computer Skills: Proficiency using MS Office and the ability to work across multiple computer systems. Ability to type at least 60 words per minute is also a plus.

Other Requirements: Must possess exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced open work environment. Individual has the desire to learn, understand and adapt to the constantly evolving environment of GreatAmerica with an efficient and precise work ethic. This individual is enthusiastic to be part of a team working towards common goals. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication.
