Our next Procurement Coordinator will be a key communication point between the suppliers, warehousing, and finance. They will be responsible for daily correspondence to place purchase orders, track orders for receipt into our storage locations, and maintain procurement records for payment of goods and services. The procurement coordinator will also be charged with cross departmental/functional communication with the warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and order fulfillment areas to support maintaining proper inventory levels for production as well as accuracy. Additionally, the candidate for this position will also be a direct point of contact to our finance department to provide supporting documentation and information to maintain an efficient payment and month end/year end processes. This position reports to the Director of Procurement.

Where you'll be planted:

This role is full time onsite in our Waterfall, PA location.

To be blunt, this role will be about:
    • Tracking and analyzing all packaging, hardware, ingredient and cultivation material inventory levels and demands to flag and recommend order reorder points and amounts.
    • Managing all packaging inventory to prevent stock outs and stops in production.
    • Communicating all packaging stock outs that result in production stoppages or changes to all key stakeholders
    • Providing ratings for all vendors in scorecards and make recommendations for vendor changes
    • Placement and Communication of Purchase Orders with Suppliers, Vendors, and Manufacturers.
    • Ordering Maintenance (Adjustments, Shift in ETAs, Cost/Price Updates, etc.)
    • Tracking and Tracing Purchase Orders into our Storage Facilities
    • Managing the onboarding process for new vendors
    • Assisting in the negotiation of pricing and credit terms
    • Researching and source new items
    • Maintaining Order Records for Short Shipments, Over Shipments, and Price Adjustments for Payment
    • Updating Order, Vendor, and Item Files.
    • Working in conjunction with the warehouse associates to receive orders at scheduled times.
    • Assisting in the Accurate accounting of inventory received, shipped and recorded.
    • Collaborating with warehousing and finance to correct inventory and order exceptions or discrepancies
    • Positive communications with warehousing, finance, and production operations.
    • Operating within company standards, KPIs and policies to support a goal-oriented environment.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • 2-3 years experience in procurement and sourcing
    • 2-3 years experience in Distribution and Warehousing
    • 2-3 years of experience in Inventory Management/Control
    • Experience in a production and manufacturing environment a plus
    • 2 years minimum experience and working within a data driven environment
    • 2 years proven ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Managing by Objectives (MBOs)
    • Working Knowledge of Procurement Practices
    • Advanced Excel skills MANDATORY
    • Strong analytical and computer application proficiency
