Overview:

In the role of Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will spearhead the sales initiatives for sulfur trap media in various sectors including oil and gas upstream, landfill, and wastewater treatment. This role demands a strategic approach to direct customer engagement within a designated area or specific application. The role is expected to have a comprehensive grasp of both the technical nuances and commercial dynamics of products related to sulfur scavenging. A key part of this role involves staying abreast of the predominant processes in the market and leveraging this knowledge to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing potential sales opportunities. - Analyze and understand the needs of the customers, key decision-making factors, and purchasing influences. - Establish and nurture robust relationships across various levels within customer organizations. - Manage a detailed database encompassing both immediate and long-term sales prospects. - Plan and execute regular sales visits, while ensuring consistent reporting of sales activities. - Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and positioning of similar products.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 2. A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in sales, with a proven success record, preferably in a similar industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of industrial processes related to petroleum refining and the petrochemical sector. 4. Demonstrated ability to independently cultivate and expand customer base in a specified geographical region. 5. Proficiency in working collaboratively in a technically diverse and multicultural setting. 6. Prior exposure to or understanding of ISO Quality systems is a plus. 7.
