Seattle, United States Tasso Inc Full time

Who We Are Tasso is a fast-growing startup that has an FDA approved painless device to collect blood for self-use at-home diagnostic testing. Tasso has strong partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic testing labs, and healthcare systems that are looking to provide remote ways to access blood data. Tasso was originally founded to find a better way to collect blood instead of a painful fingerstick or time-consuming venous draw and was originally funded by the NIH and DARPA. Since then, Tasso products have been used in pharmaceutical clinical trials, by the MLB as part of a new anti-doping program, and broadly by academic medical systems across the US. Tasso is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of Tasso software and services products, driving the at-home blood collection experience for customers, patients, and lab partners. An ideal candidate will have significant prior experience in product management for software, hardware, and healthcare products, and will report to the VP of Product.

Summary As the Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of our FDA-regulated service to patients and clinical trial participants, which is facilitated by our software platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to define product strategy, develop and execute product roadmaps, and drive the successful launch and adoption of our service product. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our product meets market needs, exceeds customer expectations, adheres to regulatory requirements, and drives business growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Product Strategy and Vision:

Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market opportunities. Identify key market trends and customer needs to inform product direction. Regulatory Compliance:

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. Facilitate communication and coordination between engineering, design, marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and customer support. Voice of the Customer:

Engage with healthcare professionals and patients, conduct market research, and gather feedback to deeply understand their needs and pain points. Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements and enhancements. Product Development:

Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch. Ensure the product is delivered on time, within scope, of high quality, and compliant with FDA regulations. Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch strategies. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive product awareness and adoption. Performance Analysis:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product. Leadership and Mentorship:

Provide leadership and mentorship to product managers and other team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role. Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies. Experience working with SaaS platforms and service-oriented architectures. Expertise with physical service delivery operations is very helpful. Regulatory Knowledge:
