As Water Resources Planning Project Manager, you will help us execute projects in our Central Plains region (Oklahoma, Arkansas) focused on water supply planning, water quality modeling and groundwater and surface water availability modeling.

  • Responsible for leading the analysis and technical reports for water resource planning projects related to water availability, strategy development. This work will include supply reliability analysis, surface and or groundwater modeling, project conceptualization and cost estimation, evaluation of environmental impacts, climate resiliency
  • Work on dynamic teams as well as oversee the work of teams of professionals
  • Client interaction and a commitment to client service as well as the ability to collaborate with senior management on vision and leadership of overall engineering processes and strategy
  • Business development activities including client service, proposal preparation, and marketing activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or comparable engineering or applied science degree
  • 8+ years related experience in water resources planning or similar field
  • Experience with surface water and/or groundwater modeling, data analysis, and project cost estimating
  • Experience in managing small and large-sized projects, preparing and maintaining project schedules, tracking project financials, and preparing status report
  • Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to become registered within 6 months
Preferred
  • Familiarity with integrated water resource planning concepts including the comprehensive management of water, wastewater, and stormwater resources
  • Experience in climate resiliency planning as it relates to the availability of existing and future water supplies
  • Experience in state and regional water planning
  • Capability in adapting programming and data management skills for technical problem-solving
  • Familiarity with modeling packages such as HEC suite, RiverWare, Modflow etc.
