The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Research Finance Specialist is the primary administrative staff responsible for the finance- and budget-related components of pre- and post-award grant administration within the SCF Research Department. Key responsibilities include supporting grant reporting; tracking and processing invoices; tracking spenddown on research grants and drafting and maintaining budget-related documents. The Research Finance Specialist supports financial administration and management of individual research grants and the Research Department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Research Administration, Business Administration, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in finance, accounting, research administration, or related field.

Native Preference

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
