Your ESG product knowledge will encompass Trucost’s Environmental and Climate Analytics, S&P Global ESG Scores, ESG indices, and other relevant products. Responsibilities and Impact: This role involves a comprehensive understanding of ESG data products and the sustainability data market to deliver high-quality account-based engagement to clients. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and guiding future product development. As part of a visible team, your contributions will be crucial in enhancing client relationships and supporting the growth of our offerings. Client Relationship Management: Develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients through discussions on S1 datasets, client use cases, and emerging sustainability trends. Share expertise on core sustainability themes, client profiles, and industry-specific risks and opportunities. Collaborative Support: Work with other teams within S1 and the broader S&P Global organization to understand the full range of S&P data and analytics offerings. Operational Support: Resolve client queries related to S1 product methodologies and complex requests. Design and implement improvements for internal processes related to case management and engagement tracking. Education and Content Creation: Advocate for S1 and its value proposition by participating in speaking events and educational outreach. Provide training to internal and external teams on S1 products and services. Contribute to the development of client-facing materials, including sales content, analytics reports, and thought leadership pieces. Stay informed about industry news, regulations, and sustainability data developments. Product Engagement: Gather and relay feedback on products and market trends to the Product Teams and develop business cases to inform commercial strategy and product development. Communicate product updates and enhancements to clients. Basic Required Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on business and sustainability. 3+ years of experience in Finance or sustainability-related roles preferred. Strong understanding of the competitive ESG data landscape and emerging regulations. Solid grasp of investment processes and the application of ESG data in various investment contexts. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Strong focus on customer service. Effective organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the ESG research, data, and ratings industry. Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to visualize data and concepts effectively. Genuine interest in sustainability topics. Familiarity with client-oriented software such as Salesforce. Business proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
