GS-12:
You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of projects that focus on short-range plans, policies and programs including, but not limited to, projects related to logistics planning, programming, budgeting, management, and/or information systems.
Assisting in the analyses of work processes and functions to evaluate and recommend changes to increase their overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Supporting the development and evaluation of policies and providing input on recommended actions to achieve program objectives and improvements.
Assisting with federal purchasing and/or creating federal acquisition packages.
GS-13:
You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Monitoring and updating data within enterprise management information systems that focus on long and short-range plans, policies, and programs.
Managing projects that require a range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to improve organizational functions and work processes.
Engaging in the development and establishment of policies and recommending actions to achieve program objectives and improvements.
Evaluating acquisitions, procurement, and/or contract proposals consistent with the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Managing budget and/or acquisitions through tasks including but not limited to creating cost estimates, tracking expenditures, and forecasting of financial data.
