As a Claim Account Manager - Global Risk Management for the Americas, you will be responsible for claim account management functions for customers helping to sell AXA XL Claims value in the marketplace and managing claims-related service issues for our customers, Third Party Administrators ("TPAs") and key distribution partners.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Representing AXA XL externally with brokers and customers promoting AXA XL claims value proposition to help distinguish us in the unbundled marketplace.
  • Participating in marketing and business development activities, including partnership with internal business colleagues to present AXA XL claim capabilities to brokers and prospective customers.
  • Completion of new account implementations including Account Profiles, Certificate of Instruction documents and set-up meetings with new insured, TPA, broker partners to ensure all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities on the program.
  • Holding client stewardship meetings to address performance of the program and opportunities for improvement, in participation with the client's third-party claims administrator.
  • Interaction with the third-party administrator as needed to develop, implement and monitor compliance with the client specific instructions and any action plans related to performance on the claim program.
  • Management of the claim audit process for the client, including coordinating the necessary internal and external resources to conduct the audit, and leading the audit wrap-up meeting.
  • Conducting meetings with clients as necessary to resolve issues and manage the ongoing client relationship.
  • Interaction with the Claims Technical Team on individual losses. Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal claims service.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
• Broad casualty claims experience: Advanced experience managing G/L and Product Liability claims. Experience managing high exposure and complex claims. Demonstrated experience negotiating and settling complex claim files.
• Excellent communication: Both verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of sophistication.
• Collaborative approach: Develop productive working relationships with insured, brokers, claim handlers, underwriters and legal counsel. Seek input from others as needed to achieve the best result possible. Capable of working and collaborating with a virtual team.
• Ethical: Handle responsibilities with integrity and the highest standards of professionalism.
• Passion for results: Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality. Act with a sense of urgency.
• Intellectual curiosity: Willing to ask questions and explore new ideas. Eager to learn and focused on continuously improving technical skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required

The U.S. pay range for this position is $92,500 - $182,500. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
