Job Title:

SaaS Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

About the Product:

Our clients sell a pure SaaS solution for Commercial Energy Analytics and Optimization - they empower Enterprise organizations to manage their energy consumption efficiently and sustainably with cutting-edge insights and technology.

Target Clients:

The ideal sales person will have sold SaaS into:

  • Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sectors
  • Commercial Real Estate (CRE) organizations
  • State and Local Entities (e.g., educational institutions)
  • Target client personas include decision-makers such as:
  • Heads of Sustainability
  • Heads of Real Estate
  • Other strategic leadership roles

Role & Responsibilities:

As a key individual contributor (IC) in our sales team, you will:

  • Drive new business growth by sourcing and closing deals.
  • Leverage SDR and marketing-generated leads (40%) while building your own pipeline through cold business development (60%).
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the SaaS sales cycle to manage long-term client relationships.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs while pursuing opportunities with a hunter mentality.

Compensation & Title:

  • Position: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive
  • Base Salary: $130k base + 100% Commission Opportunity / $260k OTE
  • Deal Sizes: Typically range from $50k to $500k ARR.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months):

  • Develop a solid understanding of our product and the energy management industry.
  • Grow your sales pipeline by at least $1.5M in revenue opportunities.

Location & Travel:

  • Headquarters in Dallas, TX (in-office 3 days/week preferred for local candidates; remote options available).
  • Sales Territory: Central USA (Chicago to Texas)
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel (approximately 5%).
