* Monitor claim status and follow up on rejections and denials.

* Maintain accurate records of account activities, adjustments, and collections.

* Document interactions with patients and insurance companies.

* Ensure proper data entry for efficient tracking.

* Interpret medical insurance cards and verify patient eligibility.

* Confirm coverage details and benefits.

* Address any discrepancies promptly.

* Provide excellent customer service to patients and address inquiries related to billing and collections.

* Explain payment options and assist with payment arrangements.

* Adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

* Stay informed about changes in billing and coding practices.

* Collaborate with other departments (such as billing, finance, and customer service) to streamline processes.

* Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for process improvement.

*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and collections setting.

* Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

* Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT/HCPCS codes, and insurance billing procedures.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders.

* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

* Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines
