SS&C Intralinks is looking for a Business Analyst to advance our data preparation and labeling efforts in support of AI product initiatives. This role will engage with both engineering and product management teams as we build AI product functionality for products within SS&C Intralinks' Alternative Investments business. The SS&C Intralinks Alternative Investments business supports private capital and hedge fund firms. Our objective is to provide solutions that help clients improve their investor communication/reporting, investor onboarding and fund marketing efforts as well as support their private capital M&A activities.
The Intralinks Alternative Investments business is a strategic growth lever for the company with industry leading and innovative products. In this role, you will be part of our efforts to leverage the latest in AI innovation to enable greater productivity for our customers. You will be using your financial services industry knowledge and experience to help with data preparation, classification and labeling efforts for AI model research and training. This will involve working daily with our experienced team of data scientists, prompt and validation engineers.
This role lies at a unique intersection of business analysis, product management and data science as it applies to the financial services industry and may provide a pathway to career advancement along one of those directions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to fast paced AI driven innovation as part of a highly collaborative team of stakeholders.
Day to Day:
- Partner with data scientists, prompt engineers and product managers to understand, scope and deliver on data preparation needs.
- Identify, classify and label data and content within financial documents for AI model training.
- Use tools created by AI engineering team as well as Intralinks products to prepare and validate alternative investments data.
- Participate in discussions as needed with different teams across application engineering, AI engineering, UI/UX, product management, professional services, and customer success.
- Document and communicate progress of activity across different projects with internal stakeholders.
- Background in investor services focused on alternative investments in a role producing and distributing investor reporting.
- Strong understanding of different types of financial documents and financial data.
- Familiarity with or background in using fintech solutions for Private Equity, Real Estate, and other Alternative Investment areas.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or business, MBA a plus
- 1-3 years of business experience within financial services or enterprise software for the Alternative Investments space
- Experience working in one of these functional areas within financial services - professional services, customer success, data processing/analysis or business analysis.
- Detail oriented with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Basic familiarity with AI and data analysis.
