Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Representative, you'll have the exciting opportunity to learn and grow within our marketing and sales teams. You'll collaborate closely with our team to gain in-depth knowledge of our services, market positioning, and target audience.
List Management: Work alongside our marketing team to identify, create and update ERP and eCommerce prospecting lists. Utilize research tools and industry insights to ensure the accuracy and relevance of these lists. Maintain dashboards and reports within HubSpot to monitor the overall health of the contact lists.
Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the creation and execution of engaging marketing campaigns aimed at capturing the interest of our target audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling messaging and content that resonates with prospective clients.
Prospecting: Leverage your natural ability to engage prospects over the phone, email, and other communication channels. Initiate meaningful conversations, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for our sales team to further explore potential opportunities.
Continuous Learning: Stay on top of industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments to enhance your understanding of our offerings and market positioning. Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops sponsored by Sandler Sales/Sales Concepts and our internal program to sharpen your sales skills and expand your knowledge base.
Qualifications:
Passion for Technology : Demonstrated interest in the technology sector and eagerness to learn about ERP solutions and professional services.
Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging prospects and articulating the value proposition of our services.
Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams is required. Familiarity with HubSpot CRM software (or others) is a plus.
Natural Prospector : Ability to confidently engage prospects over the phone and other communication channels. Comfortable with cold outreach and adept at building rapport with potential clients.
Team Player : Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Willingness to support team initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, marketing and/or communications and/or Business Management or equivalent work experience
