Stocks restrooms and locker rooms.Assists with home competitions, including ODAC and NCAA championship events. Duties include event preparation, event operations, and breakdown.Assists with setup and breakdown for physical education classes.Maintains carpet, hard surface floors, and stairwells.Cleans and maintains competition and practice facilities including Holekamp gym, Doremus gym, and the wrestling room.Dusts and polishes furniture.Washes walls and removes trash.Relamps fixtures and cleans windows.Keeps supervisor informed of projected equipment/supply needs.Assists with team gear assignment, issue, return and inventory.Provides laundry services for teams in season and visiting teams.Performs special event set-up during the week and for week-end events when necessary.Monitors water quality of the Natatorium swimming pool. Cleans and maintains pool deck.Assist with summer/special projects; including, but not limited to general maintenance and painting.Supports campus wide activities in the areas of setup, snow and ice removal and any other duties as assigned.Work Schedule: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. This position works 40 hours a week.Minimum Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.Experience in a custodial role is preferred.Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and provide responses in writing.Ability to use computers to read and respond to emails and to use basic applications is also required.This position requires the possession and maintenance of a valid Virginia vehicle operator's license and a good driving record.Application Instructions: Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
