Job Title: Bilingual Human Resource Generalist

Position Overview:

  • As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management. This role carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, recruitment and selection, training, performance management, policy implementation, HRIS management, and employment law compliance.

Location:

  • Baltimore, MD - Hybrid Position.

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday 8 AM-5 PM.

Pay Rate:

  • $29.71 - $43.62 Per Hour (Based on experience).

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, and making job offers.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate onboarding processes.
  • Provide support and guidance regarding employee relations issues.
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disputes.
  • Monitor and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS databases.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and communicate benefits information to employees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Assist with employee development and training programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to employee concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
