**Job Description** **Summary:**

The Account Sales Manager will produce proactive action plans that increase brand awareness of company products in the retail markets. Responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Residential Warranty Services, Inc. clients and customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as, the team members within the Warranty Department. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Solicit potential real estate agents as clients to market our one (1) year home warranties to their homeowner clients. * Develop plans to acquire new realtor clients, through direct sales techniques and business-to-business marketing visits. * Input clientele information into BAM Dashboard which is the Company's internal database system on a daily basis. * Recommend our home warranties and marketing tools, based on the realtors and their client's needs, to help build their business. * Explain the use and benefit of home warranties and the advantages of using RWS home warranties. * Answer clients' questions. * Provide updated marketing materials and products to new and existing clients. * Monitor customer or clientele preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts. * Attend and participate in local real estate functions (i.e., conferences, tradeshows, etc.). **Competencies** * **Problem-Solving** - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. * **Interpersonal Skills** - the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things. * **Oral Communication** - the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings. * **Written Communication** - the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information. * **Planning/Organizing** - the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. * **Quality Control** - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. * **Adaptability** - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. * **Dependability** - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. * **Safety and Security** - the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly. * **Business Acumen** - the ability to understand and apply information with which to contribute to the organization's strategic plan. * **Critical Evaluation** - the ability to interpret information with which to make business decisions and recommendations. * **Leadership** - the ability to direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within the organization. * Relationship Management - the ability to manage interactions to provide service and to support the organization. * **Change Agent** - an individual who voluntarily takes extraordinary interest in the adoption, implementation, and success of a cause, policy, program, project, or product. * **Decision Making** - the thought process of selecting a logical choice from the available options. * **Initiative** - an individuals action that begins a process, often done without direct managerial influence. * **Customer/Client Focus** - the orientation of an organization toward serving its clients needs. * **Project Management** - the body of knowledge concerned with principles, techniques, and tools used in planning, control, monitoring, and review of projects. * **Teamwork** - the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal. * **Time Management** - the individual demonstrates a systematic, priority-based structuring of time allocation and distribution among competing demands. **Knowledge and Skills** * Basic understanding of the real estate industry. * General knowledge of what a real estate transaction entails. * Ability to communicate with clients by phone, in person, or through correspondence. * Possess a thorough understanding of all applicable products. * Possess a willingness to learn. * Ability to perform duties with minimal direction. * Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. **Required Education and Work Experience** * Bachelor of Science in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related discipline. * Experience in Sales, the Real Estate, the Mortgage Industry, Title Companies, or Home Warranties. * Any similar combination of education and experience.
