Job Requirements

General Ledger Accountant - P/T - Temp Remote

About the Client:

Our client, headquartered in Austin, TX, provides governments with innovative software solutions that help deliver impactful change in their communities. Spanning across 800 agencies in multiple states, the core team is comprised of over 200 employees, located in 40+ states; all of which are dedicated and unified to help their end-client simply processes, and elevate their abilities to help the communities in which they serve.

About the Position:

Our ideal GL Accountant is a detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable individual. Working on average of about 15 hours per week (M, W, F), this individual will work closely with Senior Accountants and upper management, assisting Treasury-related functions as needed, weekly, to include:

  • Daily reconciliations
  • Assisting in Month-end close
  • Preparing Balance sheets
3 years of GL Accounting experience preferred

Usage of NetSuite is highly preferred (working within this software)

Usage of Bill Spend (formerly Divvy) is a bonus

Soft-skills needed:
  • A "Can-do" attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with your trade
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities


*Training and potential cross-training will help jumpstart this individual into their temp role that will continue throughout the next four (4) months.
