**Patient Service Representative**

Vista Physical Therapy - Plano, TX

**Overview**:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Float Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our dynamic out-patient orthopedic clinic. We take pride in our ability to provide the highest level of personable care and superior customer service.

**MUST** be willing to travel in between our clinics in the area, as needed .

**This position is full-time and eligible for the benefits listed below.**

**Salary: up to 17/hr, mileage reimburesement, benefits.**

**Schedule:** *Monday - Friday based on coverage needs*

**Job Duties:**

* Greet patients promptly and in a helpful manner

* Answer incoming phone calls

* Schedule patient appointments

* Obtain accurate patient health insurance, demographics and referral information

* Collect necessary co-pays and patient financial responsibilities at time of visit

* Reconcile payment reports

* Perform general administrative tasks including faxing, e-filing, and managing patient records

* Obtain authorizations (training available)

* Work with other staff members to maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area, lobby and treatment spaces

**Job Requirements:**

* 1+ year medical office administration experience preferred

* Strong customer service and communication skills

* Basic computer and software skills

* Ability to multi-task well under pressure

* Extremely detail-oriented and thorough

* Team player with a positive attitude

* Passionate about physical therapy
