Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform skilled functions and activities in cooking and baking in large
quantities; assist in the leading of food service personnel; maintain food service facility in an orderly, safe, and sanitary

the food service facility and equipment in an orderly, clean, safe, and sanitary conditionE; maintain records and prepare
reports as requiredE; assist in the receiving, inspecting, wrapping, and storing of foodstuffs, supplies, and materials;
assist in the inventory control and in the requisitioning of foodstuffs, supplies, and materials; assist in the training of food
service personnel and student assistants as assigned; load and unload foods to other food sites as assigned; perform
related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environment:

Food service environment;
Subject to heat from ovens, cold from walk-in refrigerators and freezers.

Physical Abilities:

Lift, carry, push, or pull moderately heavy objects;
Standing and walking for extended periods of time;
Hearing and speaking to exchange information;
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate kitchen equipment;
