MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related degree. Three plus years’ finance or accounting business experience, and experience with accrual accounting and forecasting. Understanding of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with and explaining financial data to employees at a variety of levels in an organization. Strong interpersonal skills in engaging with others, learning their area of the business, and building relationships with internal stakeholders. Ability to work in and lead initiatives within the finance department and cross-functionally within the business. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings. Ability to take initiative and work independently, managing time against deadlines. Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to navigate ambiguity. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five plus years’ related experience. Master’s in business administration, CPA, CMA or working toward completion. Experience working with ERP systems and knowledge of accounting flows Financial analysis ability such as return on investment, IRR, NPV, and payback analysis. Exposure to or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and capital planning. Ability to challenge—ask the difficult question or challenge assumptions. Oracle experience. Hyperion and/or Anaplan experience. Experience with advanced data tools like Alteryx and Tableau. Willingness and ability to reset priorities if business circumstances require. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsibility for month-end close processes, including journal entries, preparing monthly reporting, and completing account reconciliations Coordination of division’s internal controls process, monitoring SOD conflicts, and making improvements. Involved in the capital approval process and owner of the reconciliation of the

construction-in-process

account and monitoring activities for adherence to the capital policy Participation in capital reporting process and facilitating periodic reviews of

construction-in-process

account with operations finance team and leadership Lead and execute the monthly forecast and annual budget process with functional cost centers and 5-year capital forecast Participate in projects, including process mapping, testing, documentation, and training. Focus on continuous improvement across all processes of responsibility, leveraging technology and digital mindset Opportunities to expand current reporting process to include more variance analysis and insights Enhance processes by developing and documenting policies and procedures. Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements. Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description.
