Job summary: Completes payments and controls expenses by receive, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

Responsibilities:

* Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. * Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. * Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments. * Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. * Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. * Perform tasks necessary to complete and meet month-end, quarter-end, & year-end deadlines. * Respond to auditors request for documentation, verification, & internal activity related to accounts payable duties. * Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents. * Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices. * Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. * Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. * Other duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain work flow or respond to production requirements. * SAFETY: Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions. Must be flexible in taking lunch and breaks when workflow requires. Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

* Must be high school graduate or equivalent * Minimum of 7 years Accounts Payable work experience * Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail to produce accurate work products * PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
