Job Title: Credit and Collections SpecialistJob Description

We are looking for an experienced Credit & Collections Specialist to assist our client's Accounts Receivable (AR) team during the implementation of automated Cash App & Collections software. The team requires additional support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process documentation, and other implementation tasks. As the fiscal year end approaches, we need someone with excellent professional collection experience to manage a large customer base effectively.

Hard Skills

+ Investigate and analyze credit applications

+ Approve credit limits using Dun & Bradstreet

+ Monitor and maintain assigned accounts

+ Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-offs

+ Customer reconciliations and processing credit memos

+ Post daily cash from customers

+ Collection of overdue accounts

+ Reconcile customer disputes

+ Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts

+ Process monthly credit memos

+ Provide weekly/monthly reporting

+ Participate in monthly AR review meetings

+ Accelerate the collection process

+ Perform month-end close duties

+ Identify and participate in lean improvement projects

+ Assist with periodic audits

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Fort Collins, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

Onsite until fully trained (30-90 days). After training, the schedule will change to 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The position is located at the HQ building in an open space environment with individual cubicles, working closely with your team.
