We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team
The overall objective of this position is to lead our firm in acquiring new, and maintaining existing, clients for our core business of engineering design and construction management of rail systems.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients in the rail industry
Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication with President, co-workers, clients, subconsultants and other business contacts
Identify and meet with key individuals from client organizations on the firm's behalf
Track potential projects/proposals opportunities and monitor trends for business forecasting
Attend pre-proposal meetings
Prepare proposals for existing and prospective clients
Prepare periodic reports showing Proposal Hit Rate
Develops sales and marketing materials, advertisements, etc.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership qualities
Organized, independent and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accurate grammar and business correspondence knowledge
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and professional organizations.
Posses exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain positive and professional internal/external relationships
Education/Experience
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Business, or similar)
5 to 10 years of experience
