The CPI Manager must possess the ability to dissect complex processes and identify areas for improvement, manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery, and lead teams to embrace change and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Process Analysis and Evaluation

Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across all divisions, focusing on ship construction, repair, and systems’ manufacturing processes. Analyze current operational procedures to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Strategy Development and Implementation

Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety standards. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive change initiatives. Project Management

Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception to completion. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget. Collaboration and Leadership

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain. Foster a collaborative environment to gain buy-in from all levels of the organization. Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement principles and techniques. Performance Monitoring

Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure sustained improvements. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on project outcomes and performance improvements. Cultural Transformation

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Encourage proactive problem-solving and innovation. Lead initiatives to engage employees in identifying improvement opportunities. Compliance and Best Practices

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in process improvement. Job Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a process improvement role within the shipbuilding, ship repair, or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. Black Belt Certification preferred. Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement projects and delivering measurable results. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and project management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams. Proficiency in using process improvement tools and software. Familiarity with safety and quality standards in the ship construction and manufacturing industries.
