Wellness Coordinator

In close collaboration with a district-level wellness team, this Wellness Coordinator position will help coordinate a Wellness Center on a local high school campus. A Wellness Center is a welcoming and safe space on campus created for and with youth to provide access to teen health and wellness services and support. The Wellness Center offers school-wide education, prevention, and intervention, including one-time, crisis, and ongoing social-emotional and well-being support. The Wellness Center model creates opportunities to support the mental health of ALL students using a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS). The position is primarily a coordinator role and would include limited direct clinical time, billing tracking, and case management work, all the while interfacing with students, staff, allied agencies, and families throughout the day in a dynamic and integral manner on the high school campus.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position will be assigned to Scotts Valley High School.
The ideal candidate would hold a Masters in Social Work or Counseling Psychology. Candidates should be licensed or licensed-eligible and Pupil Personnel Services Credentialed/eligible. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Comments and Other Information
After two years of working for the County Office of Education, the position's funding would transition to the school district in which the Wellness Center is located.
