**Sr. End User Support Specialist**

RentPath (a Redfin Company) is looking for an experienced **Sr. End User Support Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will engage in an encouraging work hard/play hard company culture and become a part of an interesting and charismatic group of professionals who love what they do

As Sr. End User Support Specialist, you will deliver support to business users of the company's end user computing environment. This position requires prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting and problem resolution, implementation of the new laptop and desktop units and upgrade of existing desktop and laptop units. Other key responsibilities include providing support for any key technologies related to RentPath computer environment and help define roadmap technologies. It is expected that you have in-depth experience with the development and implementation of corporate standards in areas such as desktop image management, deployment management as well as complex resolution management.

**A Day in the Life**

**The Senior End User Support Specialist will be expected to consistently deliver outcomes in the following:**

* You will help ensure that milestones, delivery dates, activities, and tasks are completed as scheduled.

* You will ensure successful completion of various projects that require the involvement of several other desktop support team members.

* You will develop and maintain an understanding of the company and its business models, business operations, product lines, and organizational structures. Understand and manage critical corporate objectives and requirements pertaining to related projects.

* You will install, configure, upgrade and repair computing hardware and software in accordance with business requirements and standards. Support desktop related technologies such as printers, networks, and wireless devices. Provide support for both networked and remote units.

* You will develop and maintain a working knowledge of how the companys enterprise applications use underlying desktop technology. Tailor the delivery of support to meet these requirements as needed.

* You will develop, document and maintain desktop software images in accordance with user requests, business requirements and technology standards.

* You will provide logistics, coordination for remote desktop change management including shipping of machines to different corporate locations and site relocation activities.

* You will coordinate the installation and operation of services performed by third party vendors.

* You will provide desktop training to end users in accordance with company standards for desktop usage.

* You will use help desk software to input incident information, track the status of incidents, and report on support activities.

* You will support asset tracking and asset management activities.

* You will enforce compliance with company security standards ranging from logon management, network access management, and virus management.

* You will provide technical support for business meetings, including the maintenance of conference room AV systems.

* You will proactively identify issues with the companys computer environment and formulate corrective actions to eliminate problems.

* You will develop and deliver timely and accurate reporting on activity status. Conduct research into specific technology topics/platforms on request.

* You will perform other responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications, Training, and Experience:**

* 5+ years of hands-on desktop support in a windows and mac environment.

* Associates degree in MIS or related work experience.

* CompTIA A+, MCP, MSDST or similar.

* Knowledge in all flavors of Mac OSes,

* Knowledge in all flavors of Windows OSes, + SCCM

* Working knowledge of information technology user support processes is preferred including help desk, desktop support, asset management, procurement, and user training.

* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, phone, and verbal / written communications skills are required.

* Ability to perform in a complex organizational environment involving local and remote personnel is a must.

* The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities is essential.

* Dependability, organizational skills, and punctuality are critical for this position.

* Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and the ability to follow-up in a timely fashion.
