Position Purpose and Objectives

As a Treasury Services Implementation Specialist at Credit Union of Texas (CUTX), you will be responsible for providing internal support and exceptional member service to business members who utilize the Credit Union's treasury management services (i.e., ACH originations, positive pay, bill pay, remote deposit capture, payroll, etc.).This position will support business members directly via phone, email, and live chat services to resolve complex member service issues pertaining to business online and mobile banking and related treasury management services for business members and their authorized employees. Overall, this person will play an integral role in the future development and support of treasury management products and services at CUTX.

The Treasury Services Implementation Specialist will work closely with the Business Banking Specialists, branch employees, and other internal department partners in onboarding, operations, sales, and research and error resolution.This position will ensure department procedures are followed and will escalate any issues or errors to the VP of Treasury Services.

Major Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Be well-versed in and maintain a knowledge of all treasury management products and services from an end-user and technical perspective, with the ability to act as a resource for all internal departments and associates.
  • Provide support in completing the appropriate forms and follow up with members and associates to ensure a quality experience onboarding with business online and mobile banking services.
  • Resolve administrative and new member onboarding concerns by analyzing issues, while identifying and providing viable solutions.
  • Provide technical and operational support to the Credit Union's treasury management business users, Business Banking Specialists, and branch personnel.
  • Stay abreast of all changes, developments and enhancements for all systems and products.
  • Navigate effectively and efficiently through multiple systems.
  • Provide periodic member and associate training and support on the use of treasury management products.
  • Assist with special projects as needed (updates, enhancements, new product launches, etc.).
  • Track client issues to identify product and process improvements or business members at risk due to frequent problems.
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations, credit union policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, member transactions and financial exposures.
  • Strong commitment to member satisfaction.

This role does not supervise any additional positions.

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:
  • Knowledge of business deposit account types and operational servicing of business and treasury products and services.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and demeanor necessary to perform business relationship support, including telephone skills and strong interpersonal skills in managing technical issues.
  • Expertise in using effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by SAFE Act.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a financial institution, preferably with some experience and knowledge of business online banking and cash management products.
  • Experience in client service or product support is preferred.
