Busy Portland healthcare group is looking for a 12 week Marketing Event Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to expand your marketing/event experience, while making an impact on our clients customer base. The Marketing Event Coordinator is responsible for the setup, execution, break down and evaluation of events that promote our client. The Marketing Event Coordinator will be representing our client in a positive, high energy way and interacting with potential and existing customers. They will also be executing event activities such as giveaways, distribution of informational collateral and other table activities (games/etc). Key Outcomes:

Supports with identification and scheduling of target events. Attends events such as conferences, community activities, partner meetings etc. Prepares and orders materials (as needed) for events based on the schedule and anticipated attendance levels Transports the event materials to/from events and ensuring it is maintained. Education/Experience:

One year experience in event management or marketing preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in an office setting. Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

Skills in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). Strong organizational skills (ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining focus on organization objectives). Ability to take direction from multiple individuals and prioritize tasks appropriately to meet deadlines. Ability to function independently. Takes appropriate initiative while soliciting input/advice appropriately. Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Strong attention to detail. $20-25/hr, depending on experience. Monday-Friday, 8-5pm.

Occasional travel to Sea Coast New Hampshire for events.
