Description

Overall: Ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready for purchase. Order new parts from catalog as needed. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions. Look over machine, and product to determine what part is needed.

  • Repair damaged bins
  • Repair damaged carts and shutters.
  • Repair and replace handrail damaged by equipment.
  • Maintain and repair any and all safety issues.
  • Replace old style tongues with new style on all tugged carts. (per safety Department)
  • Carts that are tugged need casters replaced with ergo double wheel casters.
  • Check and act on all PFS for all production areas.
  • Must be able to read tape measure.
  • Able to pass mig weld test.
  • Knowledge on how to use hand tools
  • Able to perform task with proper power tools (grinders, porta band saw, drill, chop saw, impacts, etc.)
  • Other job duties as assigned and required based on business needs
Requirements
  • Part number and cell location.
  • Part quality confirmation (pqc) for each part
  • Standard Work instructions
  • How to read build sheet
  • Basic TL phase training for fault handling and switching product select for exact amount that is ordered
  • Service Parts' Production using the manual welders and hand clamps
  • 5S on the Service Parts' Area for better efficiency
  • Follow the Quality Expectation of the service parts
  • Write the SWIs of making the obsolete service parts' process
  • Help rework the mass production parts
  • Help customers find the spare parts they are looking for.
  • Read catalogs to determine new parts on market.
  • Ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready for purchase.
  • Order new parts from catalog as needed.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Look over machine, product, or car to determine what part is needed.
  • Locate other vendors who have the part if it isn't carried in store.
  • Recommend substitute parts or show customers how to modify parts.
  • Examine parts for defects.
  • Exchange defective parts.
  • Take inventory of stock and replenish when needed.
  • Measure parts, using precision measuring instruments to determine whether similar parts may be machined to required size.
  • Mark and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system.
  • Set up merchandise for display.
  • Answer the customers' questions or problems regarding service parts
  • Use knowledge of machines and equipment to discuss the use and features of parts.
  • Look up stock numbers and prices for parts in catalogs or on computers.
  • Receive and deliver parts to customers.
  • Other job duties as assigned and required based on business needs
  • Individuals must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor, which includes Head Protection, hearing protection; safety eye protection, gloves, sleeves, and steel-toed safety shoes, and a High Visibility Vest.
