Responsibilities

  • This is a PRN position.
  • Your role transcends a mere profession; it is a vocation that guides individuals on a journey of rediscovery. As a Communication Rehabilitation Specialist, you are a steward of change, crafting and executing home care strategies that rejuvenate speech recovery. With each assessment, you unveil the latent potential within, giving voice to aspirations that were once muted.
  • Within the personal settings of homes, you conduct a harmonious array of care, delivering direct speech therapy interventions with the finesse of a conductor. Each word articulated, each sound produced, becomes a vital thread in the fabric of healing. With commitment and skill, you revise the speech therapy treatment plan, ensuring that advancements are tracked and objectives are achieved.
  • As an advocate for progress, you are sensitive to the subtleties of each patient's experience. Your attentive observation and compassionate nature recognize even the smallest changes in their condition, and you communicate these observations to the attending physician and relevant personnel. Your voice serves as their champion, ensuring that the cadence of rehabilitation remains aligned with their needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • ASHA certificate of clinical competence.
  • One year of clinical experience.
