Job Summary

Community Relations Director

The Community Relations Director is responsible for achieving budgeted occupancy in the community, while meeting pre-determined goals relative to sales and marketing objectives.

The Community Relations Director is tasked with several key duties, such as:
  • Achieve budgeted occupancy through effective use of Traditions' sales and marketing processes.
  • Increase traffic/leads through marketing campaigns.
  • Perseverance and tenacity to follow through on leads and close.
  • Inquiry calls
  • Tours
  • Home Visits
  • Move-in Process
  • Internal Community Involvement
  • Data Entry
  • Market/Competition Knowledge
  • Sales & Marketing Process
  • Participate in daily stand-up to communicate tours, move-ins, room flip needs, and upcoming events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
  • This position is salaried and may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day, forty hours in a week, weekend and evening tours/move-ins with Manager On Duty responsibilities.
Candidate Profile

The Community Relations Director should be highly efficient and a natural leader with the goal of ensuring successful lead generation and conversion of established KPIs. Professional attitude and appearance. Strong skills with seniors and the public. Able to manage stress and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Will need to be familiar with working in a variety of Communities and Markets to drive occupancy success.

Preferred Qualifications are as follows:
  • BS/BA in Communication, Business, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in Senior Living Sales having met established KPIs.
  • Self-starter and completer, with a proven track record in the ability to close a sale.
  • Solid understanding of business functions.
  • Knowledge of sales and KPIs.
  • Proficient in MS Office and databases.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
  • The ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced sales process within multiple community portfolios.
  • Strong marketing and communication skills.
  • Honest and dependable.
