The

Residential Product Manager, located at our corporate office in Winston Salem, NC, is responsible for driving the sales and profits of Amarr’s residential product portfolio. This position develops the residential product line strategy and is the key contact and advocate for all residential products for Amarr customers, both internal and external. Responsibilities: Strategic direction, planning, and control of the residential garage door product line. Champion residential product development projects at cross-functional residential product development meetings. Work cross-functionally to establish market appropriate pricing and meet company margin objectives. Develop marketing plans with budget and timelines to drive sales, profitability, and market share of residential garage doors. Responsible for market research for both existing and future residential garage doors. Analyze customer/market trends in the residential garage door industry. Develop, recommend and present product extensions and deletions to management. Perform sales, distribution, inventory, promotion and ROI analysis for existing and new products. Participate in customer calls or visits to facilitate new product introductions and/or to identifying new opportunities. Work closely with sales and manufacturing to ensure efficient forecasting and production. Develop the creative guidelines for residential product marketing and work closely with Amarr Marketing Communication staff and outside agencies in the development and implementation of sales support materials and promotional programs. Development and recommend annual residential marketing plans and manage budgets. Work closely with Research & Development team in development of product generational plan, new products and continuous product improvement ideas. Develop/coordinate sales materials, aids, and presentations to train field sales or builders. Requirements: BS or BA degree required, MBA preferred. 7-10 years brand or product management experience required. Experience within the garage door/operator and/or building industry preferred.
