We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to enable new and existing Carrier sales channels & partners to adopt our strategies in selling Abound. This individual will play a key role in working with partners to understand their requirements and support revenue-generating activities. The business development manager will support adoption, enable a selling strategy and gain buy-in from channel partners enabling revenue generation. This role is pivotal in driving sales and revenue growth by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with channel partners.

Your primary responsibility will be to enable these partners to effectively sell digital platform and services within the building industry. This may include but limited leading sales training programs, product training, partner onboarding, sales adoption, strategic projects, and associated Carrier strategic initiatives. This is a regional role focused on the Americas, with a heavy influence of our global regions.

Build programs to grow channel partners who align with our product offerings Facilitating Carrier resources, ensure the onboarding process provides proper education on our products and services. Provide Support and Training: Collaborate with partners to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed for successful sales. Design training program on product features, benefits, and value propositions. Design and implement channel partner programs (e.g., training, marketing, incentives). Ensure partners are well-versed in product features and benefits. Performance Management: Monitor the performance of existing channel partners. Develop strategies to enhance their sales effectiveness and revenue generation. Forecast revenue projections based on partner performance. Identify, support, and track large strategic wins in the partner channels. Sales Alignment: Collaborate with our extended sales teams to align efforts and maximize revenue. Ensure seamless communication between channel partners and our sales force. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Leverage this knowledge to refine channel strategies. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and challenges within the channel promptly and diplomatically. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree 7+ years of working experience in channel management 5+ years of experience in Operating Technologies (i.e. BMS, Elevator, Security, lighting, etc) in Commercial Building Industry 3+ years of experience with IoT systems (widgets, sensors, etc) in Commercial Building Industry Ability to travel up to 50% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Field Proficient use of Microsoft office 365 products. #LI-Remote RSRCAR
