Regional Sales Manager

As the Regional Sales Manager- Northeast, you will collaborate with Regional Leadership to set sales targets for the Sales team and ensures the sales targets are achievable and align with company strategy. This role will develop and implement sales strategies under the direction of the Regional Sales Director that align with the company's goals and objectives across both business units - Glass and Metal. You will lead a team of sales professionals to achieve their sales targets and goalsThis role will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with customers, our sales team and internal partners. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Analysis: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives with a focus on total sales revenue and booked margin growth. Analyze market trends in collaboration with Sales Ops team to inform resource deployment.Targets: Collaborate with sales ops and finance to set sales targets for the team and ensure they are achievable and align with company strategy.Management & Training: Communicate, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets and goals. Provide training to sales teams to improve their skills and knowledge. Ensure cross Glass and Metal team collaboration.Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor sales performance on continual basis and take corrective action if necessary. Report performance to senior leadership. Ensures team is tracking customer interactions, activities, managing sales pipeline and reporting in CRM.Relationships: Fosters relationships with customers, sales team, and internal partners.Employ all available resources to deliver an unparalleled customer experience.Sales: Engage in sales motion on challenging or critical customers as necessary to drive growth.Key CompetenciesMake safety a priority in daily activities.Conduct business with integrityBuild trusting relationshipsPromote brand loyaltyCoach and inspire the Sales TeamDriving successful customer engagementsAligning and executing sales strategyDrive for resultsProfessional Experience/QualificationsBachelor's Degree in sales/marketing or equivalent work experience preferredMinimum 5+ years of sales experienceReside in Northeast region requiredExperience in building materials, construction, architectural aluminum, or glass salesStrong leadership skills to build, lead, and develop a team of dedicated sales professionalsPassion for training and enabling team members to successfully exceed their goalsExperience working with large, complex organizations preferredResults oriented, ensuring we deliver on existing commitments while also working to continuously deliver an unparalleled customer experienceStrong written and verbal communications skills to all levels of an organizationCustomer service, problem solving, and analytical skills requiredStrong attention to detailStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsOtherLead a team of 6-8 direct reports50-60% travel required.
