We are a year-round venue space, as well as a full restaurant/bar, and we are seeking a motivated, energetic, organized individual who has a passion for events and hospitality to join our growing team

Job Description:
The Sales Assistant will report to the Director of Events and will be a support to the sales team with all aspects of the event sales and events execution.

The Sales Assistant will be expected, but not limited, to:
•respond to initial event leads through event lead platforms
•book and execute small semi-private events
•maintain inbox and client communication via email and phone
•maintain calendars of sales team members including scheduling calls and tours
•assist with tours of the space
•attend weekly sales and operations meetings
•Create and maintain signage for all events
•Be on-site and available to assist with event greeting and setup, as necessary, and based on schedules as determined by the Director of Events
•provide general office and sales support
•Working with vendors to order and supply items for events
•Creating and running reports

Requirements:
•Have a knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
•Have a flexible schedule be available for nights and weekends
•Be able to anticipate team and client needs and be a self-starter
•Be able to speak succinctly and energetically via phone or in person to sell the event spaces
•Have personality and ability to sell events to clients
•Be able to properly compose and correspond in a timely manner via email
•Have previous work experience in an office setting or similar

Experience Preferred:
•Experience with Canva, Tripleseat and OpenTable platforms a plus
•Prior event experience either working, producing, or executing events
•Prior experience in hospitality or sales required
