THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of the America’s team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Manager of Strategic Accounts. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Manager of Strategic Accounts who is responsible for identifying and growing the national rental account segment and large construction firms for SANY America Inc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management:
Develop, penetrate, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with national rental accounts and large construction firms. Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Sales Growth:
Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospecting for new national rental companies and large construction firms. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
Customer Solutions:
Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions that add value. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team and senior management.
Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements that are beneficial for both the company and the customer. Ensure all terms are clearly defined and met.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales activity, and market trends. Use data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management and business development.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years’ experience in account management or sales, preferably with construction equipment machinery OEM
Able to properly communicate with senior level managers.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing national accounts.
Strong understanding of sales cycle process and customer service practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed business decisions.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Able to work with global colleagues and different cultures.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
TRAVEL
50-70%
COMPENSATION
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
