About the team The Food Safety team is in place to enable Amazon to offer safe, compliant food products customers can trust. The team mitigates food safety risk and protects customers from foodborne illness, allergic reactions and otherwise unsafe products, and protects Amazon’s brand and reputation. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Arlington, VA, USA | Bellevue, WA, USA | Nashville, TN, USA | New York, NY, USA Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience handling confidential information - • 3+ years of experience managing Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance at the enterprise level. Understanding regulations for retail and distribution food safety training - • Demonstrated experience of managing stakeholder relationships and working with stakeholders at all levels, across multiple teams. Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams. - • Experience leading large, fast-moving projects, working with various internal teams to collect requirements, negotiate trade-offs, and evaluate impact - • Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and detail oriented - • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience. Proficient in using data to drive decisions in a business environment. - • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - • Experience communicating goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization - 2+ years of experience in managing training/people development related projects or programs. Demonstrated experience of managing and driving innovative training solutions is a plus.
